We have improved the picture frame feature of our Website Maker and added three new scopes for design. In the following, we are going to explain these innovations and , furthermore, you will get some hints concerning the utilization of the picture frame and the possibilities of its individualization.
If you want to use a picture frame for your website, it can be chosen in the menu-bar on the left hand side of your screen as you are used to it. Its placed "at objects/ picture frame". You have the choice between high size and horizontal format, according to what you are looking for.
Hint: All frames can be sized and adjusted freely. You always can turn a high sized frame into a horizontal format and the other way around.
If you have chosen your preferred frame, just place it on your website by using drag and drop.
Hint: You can open the attributes-box by double-clicking on your frame. Set its color, adjust the transparency and add animations or other visual effects.
To show a photo in your frame, you first of all have to load it up to Website Maker. You can do so by clicking the button "Upload" at "objects" on left-hand-sides tool-bar. Select the requested data and confirm. You will find your uploaded media at "objects/ my media/ uploaded". Place your picture into your frame using drag and drop.
Below the frame, three new buttons will appear:
1 .Show photo fitted exactly to the picture frame
The left one of these three buttons allows you to show the picture filling up all the space in your frame. By this, the photo will be cut at its edges to make it fit the format of your chosen frame. There wont be any contortions of your photo.
2. Show photo in original format in the picture frame
Using this feature, which can be picked by the mid-button, the picture will be show completely in your frame. There wont be any loss of picture-data. Instead, a rim between picture and frame will appear to fit the frame's format.
3. Manual editing
Using the right button, you can activate and reset the manual-editing-feature. Only in case manual-editing is deactivated, you can chose the options „show photo fitted exactly to the picture frame“ and „show photo in original format in the picture frame“. As soon as you activate manual editing, you can scale, turn and relocate your uploaded picture independently from your frame. By this, you have the possibility just to show an excerpt of your picture or place it centrically in the frame as if you used a passe-partout.

Dear MAGIX Online Album user,
Starting immediately, you can export mixed albums that contain your favorite photos & videos, including background music, with just a few clicks as HTML to be embedded on external sites. Use this function to present your exciting slideshows and videos on other websites, e.g. MySpace, eBay, etc.
The export function is this easy to use:
1. Log in at www.magix-online.com
2. Start the Online Media Manager
3. Click the settings icon next to the album you want to export
4. Next, press the "Export" button
5. Copy the HTML code out of the browser window that opens up
6. Insert the HTML code into the target page (e.g. MySpace)

Tip! The special advantage of this export function is that changes you make to your MAGIX Online Album, (inserted photos, videos, music, etc. will be synchronized with the target website ( e.g. MySpace.com) .
Note! For MAGIX Website Maker users who would also like to show their online albums as great album slideshows on their own Flash website, there's an especially easy way to do this. Open up Website Maker and simply drag the the albums in the object manager directly onto the workspace.
